‘That Saturday (am) Animation and Film Club’ is a 2 hour monthly session to introduce Stop-motion Animation, film and performance.
We run on the SECOND SATURDAY of each month.
The Session is open to anyone aged 9 - 15.
10:00 to 12:00pm.
Each session is suitable for Children on the Autistic Spectrum/ADHD. They will have the chance to work as group on a solo project using industry standard stop motion animation software, editing and special FX software.
We use DSLR camera’s and i-pads and lots of other gadgets and gizmo’s which make Animation fun.
Children can create their own little stop-motion animation to view on Youtube or be part of a shared filming project. We also dabble into other Media too such as Art and prop making, Green screening, filming and editing.
Pre-registration & Booking is required for this event.
Price £32 per person.

Each Wednesday Morning during Holiday Time Sparky will open the doors for our Fun Animation Holiday Club for Children with Autism.
The session will include Stop-motion animation, Editing, Film and Performance and much much more in a mixed bag for those young ones who would like to express themselves creatively.
The session is based at our Studio in Chesterfield and is for a maximum of 6 children between the ages of 9 and 16 years.
The cost is £30pp. If you are interested and not already known to the studio please contact the Studio via email ginger@sparkyink.co.uk as you my need a pre-visit. all attendees will have to complete a Pre-registration form.
Tickets are not valid unless confirmed with the Studio.

That Gamesdev Portfolio thingy
Sparky's Jollies Film & Animation club ages 9 - 16

That Games dev Thingy is exclusive to ages 13+ years old.
This is for students interested in producing a portfolio in digital and concept media for Games Design and Development.
Included in the workshops are concept art, coding and working in Gamemaker Studio 2, games testing, animation and much more.
Students will learn at a good pace we advise that the course usually lasts between 10 and 15 sessions.
The sessions are a good way to socialize as well as learn and are designed for young people with autism and additional needs.

8-Bit Evolved 16+ Autism Gaming & Grub
8-Bit Evolved Autism Gaming Nite for 16+ has been running monthly since 2017.
The event runs on various dates during the year so have a look at our EventBrite to check when they are.
We start at 4.30pm and finish at 8pm. Around 6/6.30pm we have Pizza or a takeaway or make chip butties Ages are 16 upwards.
The session is a chance to define thumbs through video gaming together, socializing and making friends in a safe and fun environment.
£20pp (extra £2.50 for a chip butty or bring your own grub or bring enough £££ to order out for something else) includes a soft drink and snack. Please note: Takeaway food or Pizza are not included in the ticket price.
The studio can also admit participants who are unable to come to the studio in person via Discord. (T's&C's apply)
(From November 2021 we will make a small token charge of £2.00pp).

Mini-Gamers 9-12yrs Autism Gaming
8-Bit Evolved Mini-Gamers Autism Friendly Saturday Gaming has been running since 2018 and is for children aged 9 to 12 years old.
The event runs at various dates through the year. Please check out EventBrite for more information. We start at 1pm and finish 2:30pm.
The 1.5hrs event is a chance to define thumbs through video gaming together, socializing and making friends in a safe and fun environment.
