- MEET THE SPARKY STUDIO CHARACTERS -

Sparky

Sparky is our main Studio Mascot - a robot style dog blueprinted by Inventor and Drone-bot Inky and built as a lifelong companion and help in his Studio production workshop. Sparky is a gentle creative character who loves his family and is super caring and dependable.  He eats metal nuts, bolts and old bits of tech.

Fun fact: The creation of Sparky by Inky appears in one of the Studio's very First Stop-motion Animations.  Originally designed by Studio artist JD.Wright in 2016.  JD animated Sparky and inky in ink and card.  The video is on the Studio's YouTube Channel.

This design by Bailey Stone 2025.

Pink Alien

Pink Alien, a tiny squishy thing was found inside a futuristic capsule on a beach by Inky in 2017.  Inky takes the squishy thing back to his workshop where he and Sparky look after it.  They realize two things very quickly;

1. It never stops eating and will eat anything!

2. It got very big very quickly!!

Pink Alien quickly becomes part of Inky and Sparky's family and is an excellent cleaner, moving any mess he finds very efficiently. He loves to help out.  He doesn't really remember much about where he is from, only that he has a forever home where adventures can happen!

His favourite food - Pumpkins. Dislikes - empty plates.

Pink Alien was originally designed in clay by Ginger 2017 and first appeared in an Easter Stop-motion animation in the same year.  The video is on the Studio's YouTube Channel.  This design by Bailey Stone 2025.

Inky

Inky is a bespoke one-off retro drone-bot.  He was created by his human inventor and film director G.Gordon in 1947 as a film set helper and companion. Over the years Inky would prove to be a first class engineer and inventor, supporting many films to create props and help in the Stunt department.  Sadly Gordon would pass away and leave a small workshop to Inky in an investors trust. Inky didn't understand loss or loneliness and worked hard to make sense of what had happened, decades later he would create Sparky and his family would begin.

Originally designed by Studio artist JD.Wright in 2016.  JD animated Sparky and inky in ink and card.  The video is on the Studio's YouTube Channel.

This design by Bailey Stone 2025.
